What a beautiful morning! ☀️ Seniors, we hope you had an awesome breakfast watching the sunrise together on your first Friday. THANK YOU to the many parents and donors who contributed to make this event happen. This school year is off to a great start!

Wake up, Class of 2027!!! ⏰ Is almost time for the Senior Sunrise! The parents have arrived, the food is being prepped, and we’re ready to celebrate YOU on your first Friday of Senior year! This event is for Seniors ONLY and everything is FREE! Come watch the sunrise together at 6:30. ☕️🍳🥞

Seniors, we hope to see you bright and early on Friday morning! 🌅

Tomorrow is our first full day, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to campus!

• TNN (Homeroom): 8:00–8:45
• 1st Period: 8:51–10:06
• 2nd Period: 10:12–11:28
• 3rd Period: 11:34 a.m.–1:38
• 4th Period: 1:44–3:00

🚪 Doors open at 7:30 a.m. When you arrive, enter the building and report directly to either:

*The cafeteria for breakfast, or
*The auditorium until it’s time to head to TNN.

📄 Reminder: If you have not already submitted your proofs of residency, please bring them with you tomorrow.

Some Student Council members had a great day today preparing for the start of the new school year and helping with the Freshmen Meet & Greet! We can’t wait to see everyone in the gym Thursday morning for the opening Pep Rally!

It’s that time again! Homecoming week will be September 7-11 this year. We’d like to get Trojan Nation t-shirts ordered ASAP to get them before then, but we’re still short of our sponsor goal. Please contact us today if you’re interested in being a part of this tradition!

Morristown-Hamblen High School West Welcomes Dr. Alvin Sanders, Jr. as Principal!

Morristown West is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Alvin Sanders, Jr. as the next principal of West High School.

For the past 20 years, Dr. Sanders has called West High his professional home, serving alongside dedicated teachers, staff, coaches, administrators, students, and families who make our school community exceptional. In his message to faculty and staff, he shared that his focus will be on supporting staff, building strong relationships, honoring West High’s traditions of excellence, and keeping students at the center of every decision.

Dr. Sanders believes that the greatest strength of West High is its people and looks forward to listening, learning, and working together as we continue moving our school forward.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Sanders on this new role and welcoming him as he begins this exciting chapter of leadership at West High!
