Aunt Amy (as the daycare kids like to call her) supervised family support workers of a home visiting program at BHSN for over 12 years. Throughout those 12 years she learned many skills that she now incorporates within the daycare. These skills include things such as developmental screenings, goal planning, behavioral management and the educational tools need to to raise a happy and healthy child.
2 years ago Amy and her husband Jason were blessed with the birth of their first baby boy, Amaro. This is when Amy changed her career direction from being a supervisor of family support workers, to becoming a daycare provider in order to have a more hands on experience of helping to nurture the growth of young children. Over the past two years Amy and Jason have transformed part of their house into an exciting, fun filled daycare that promotes structured learning and educational growth while still allowing children to have fun and enjoy themselves as every child should.
