Happy Fair Week!! 🎡🎟️

Our chapter had a week full of fun at the Whiteside County Fair! Besides riding rides and eating good food on our own time, we had a great time running the FFA Alumni tent and the Cattlemen’s Barn.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported our chapter and alumni this week at the fair! We wouldn’t be able to do the things we do without all of your support. 💙💛

Come visit us at the FFA tent all day at the fair this week! We are selling FFA alumni raffle tickets, picnic tickets, and FFA merch. We are located just across from the Cattlemen’s barn. We hope to see you here!! 🎡

We are still in need of help at the cattlemen’s today from 1-4 and 4-8. Crucial time will be 4 to 7. If you haven’t signed up yet please do so.

Get signed up now to help FFA at the fair. Need hours to qualify for some event qualification this year. Open to all incoming Ag students and current. Also qualifies for impact hours. We have several openings.

We have a couple of important announcements for some upcoming events!

First, our Kick-Off FFA Cookout is tomorrow! We are so excited to see you there. If the rain that is expected tomorrow does end up affecting our cookout, we will move inside to the high school cafeteria. However, since there is still construction taking place, you will have to enter through the pool ramp doors and only stay in the cafeteria!

Secondly, we need some help from our FFA members! We have been offered the opportunity to help out on Demo Night at the fair. This task would include helping people find their seats and making sure everyone is sitting in the correct seat. We need at least four kids to help out! If you are able to help, send a message to either one of the teachers or message this Facebook account.

And finally, make sure you are signing up for the fair volunteer slots that were posted about a week ago. If you are wanting to participate in either National Convention or Farm Progress Show, you must complete 6 hours of help! Even if you are not planning on attending these events, we would greatly appreciate all the help we can get!
