traceptives, a Buddha board, essential oils and more! The Violence Prevention Program is also part of the wellness center. Green dot is an effective bystander intervention program to reduce violence on college campuses. It starts with Red Dots. Red dots are small moments in time when violence occurs. Violence that has been proven to occur on a regular basis on college campuses. The moment it takes to hit someone, to send a threatening text or to stalk someone on social media. It is up to us how we shape our campus, so what will be your green dot? What can you do to intervene when you see a red dot? Green dot examples are: Pulling a friend aside, calling the police or offering a distraction. In any such situation, you can add a green dot to our campus map and make a difference.
