Today, we had our beginning of semester training for our peer educators. Our student staff learned about communication styles in tutoring, graphic organizers, Penji related things and lots more. The PALs, Study Group Tutors, Embedded Tutors, and one-on-one tutors receive significant training each semester to be sure they’re ready to help you be successful.

Tutoring starts August 31st! Make tutoring appointments starting on the 31st through Penji.

Learning Assistance at UMN Morris is about so much more than peer tutoring. We do have wonderful tutoring for many classes, but we also have PAL sessions, Embedded Tutoring, academic workshops, and study strategist tutoring. Our Learning Assistance Coordinator is also available to meet to chat about study tips, time management in college, and how to bounce back from a challenge. Students can use Penji in the fall to see all of these great resources and programs.
