Morris Mock Trial

Morris Mock Trial We are the Mock Trial team at UMM. Mock Trial is an intense, fast paced competition judged on case k Louis and the San Francisco Bay Area.

We are the Mock Trial team at the University of Minnesota, Morris. In a unique combination of debate, speech, improv and acting, we prepare over the course of the academic year to compete in mock trial tournaments around the country. We conduct imitation trials with members of other colleges and universities where each institution has students portraying witnesses and acting as attorneys for a sin

gle side of a case, which is new each academic year. Our Mock Trial teams competes regularly in the Twin Cities, Wisconsin and Iowa. We also travel to a distant tournament at least once each year. In previous years, we have attended tournaments in Tucson, Philadelphia, Miami St. Our team is 100% student-led with no coach. The people coaching the new members each year are other students.
