October is the month of the Most Holy Rosary

This morning our ICS 6th Graders began their day in prayer by praying the Holy Rosary together. We took this special time to honor and celebrate Mary, our Blessed Mother, and ask for her intercession as we begin our day. What a beautiful way to start the morning—with faith, prayer, and our hearts centered on God.

It's time to register for Drama Club!

ICS Drama Club students perform in our Christmas Pageant, our fully produced spring show, and at special events throughout the year. This year, all students will learn about Shakespeare and his writing. ICS students receive an educational instructional workshop experience, complete with improv, scene study, theatre games, story theatre, and public speaking/speech work, throughout the year in addition to regular performance rehearsals. Workshops will meet one to two times per month on Saturday mornings (this is flexible for students who are involved in other activities). Rehearsals for our big spring show (tentatively Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream") will be based around student availability. Drama Club is generally flexible outside of the week of April 4-10 (tech week & performance week). Students in Drama Club will audition for the spring show in December before Christmas break. Students can choose to direct, choreograph, design (set/costumes/makeup) or do a technical job (stage managing, lights, sound, etc.) if they would rather not perform. Our regular club workshops throughout the year are for all members and include many life and social skills teaching, social emotional learning, and confidence building activities that are beneficial to whole-child learning.

Please email Mrs. Mattson with any questions/concerns: [email protected]

Registrations are due by October 23rd.

Hey ICS Fam! We are SO excited for a night of fun, food, friends, and fundraising.

The 51st Annual I.C.S. Oktoberfest is coming up on Saturday, October 17, and we need our amazing I.C.S. families to help make this year the best one yet!

Did you know? There's a little secret to making Oktoberfest a success. 🤫 It takes time, talent and treasure!

TIME: Join the committee, help decorate, set up, or take down. Many hands make light work!

TALENT: Make a basket! Donate an auction item, experience, tickets, gift certificate, vacation stay, or get creative with something unique! Do you have a talent or skill we could auction off?

TREASURE: Become a sponsor, make a cash donation, contribute to the auction, buy a table and/or purchase your dinner tickets!

Every gift of time, talent, and treasure makes a difference for our school and helps support I.C.S. students through curriculum, technology, safety, and so much more!

And of course, we hope you’ll join us for a fun night of great food, friends, and bidding! 🎉

SAVE THE DATE:
ICS Oktoberfest: Saturday, October 17
Dinner & Silent Auction: 5:00 PM
Live Auction: 7:00 PM
I.C.S. Doc Connor Gym | 505 E North Street
