On Saturday, the Saratoga boys baseball team won their opening round game in the IVC Tournament against Mazon. The Final Score was Saratoga - 15 and Mazon - 4. With the win, Coach Blaine earned his 200th win as Saratoga Head Baseball Coach. Congratulations, Coach Blaine! Thank you for everything you have done for not only our Saratoga Baseball Program, but also the hundreds of young men you have coached. Your hard work and passion for the game of baseball does not go unnoticed. Congrats, again, on 200!

On Thursday the soccer team had another win. We played against DePue and the ending score was 3-1. Jaxon B scored the first two goals and Noah C scored the third goal. Tonight we play Richland and tomorrow we play Morris Grade School at the high school. Please come out and support your Saratoga Hawks Soccer team.

Attention 8th Graders! Get ready for an unforgettable 3-day adventure packed with fun and history! Join us from April 30 to May 2 as we hit the road to explore Springfield, IL, St. Louis, MO, and Hannibal, MO. It’s the ultimate mix of hands-on learning, legendary landmarks, and making lasting memories with your classmates. A parent meeting will be held at Morris Grade School on Wednesday, September 2 at 5:30 pm. Registration ends on Friday, October 30th.

Last Night, the Saratoga A softball team defeated their cross town rivals.

Saratoga 10, Morris Grade School 0.
The girls came out strong offensively, collecting 14 hits as a team. Sadie A went 3-3, Ava R had a triple, and Brenna D doubled. Izzy M, Rosie H, and Maddy S each collected multiple hits.
Ava R took the win on the mound, Striking out 8 batters.
The Lady Hawks next games are at the IVC Conference Tournament this Saturday in Mazon, first game is at 11am vs Gardner.

Many families are struggling to bring food to the table. That is why The Village is partnering with Northern Illinois Food Bank and will host a Mobile Food Pantry. Families in the Seneca and surrounding communities will be able to get enough groceries (bread, dairy, meats, veggies) for about a week.

Distribution will be first come first served. There is no registration, proof of income or I.D. required.

Where: Seneca Grade School (South) 410 S. Main Street, Seneca

When: Monday, September 28 @ 5 pm
