The Communication Media & Rhetoric discipline faculty offices, and many of the program classrooms are in the Humanities Fine Arts (HFA) building on the campus of the University of Minnesota Morris. The academic program is currently named CMR, previous names include: Speech Communication, Speech, and Speech & Theatre.
