🧠 Fun is not extra.

One thing I hear a lot from parents is, “They had so much fun.”

And I always think… good.

Because fun isn’t extra — it’s part of how kids learn.

When a child feels relaxed and engaged, their brain is actually more open to taking in new information.

That’s when things start to stick.

It’s still structured, it’s still intentional — it just doesn’t feel heavy.

Early learning with ADHD can be a bit like listening to the radio while driving away from the station.

At first, the signal is clear. But the further you go, the more static creeps in—until you’re only catching pieces of what’s being said.

It’s not that the child isn’t trying or isn’t capable—they’re just not consistently receiving all the instruction.

So we slow down, go back, and rebuild those missing pieces in a way that actually sticks.

Think of me as a learning translator 💙

I’ve been working more closely with a homeschool family recently, and it made me realize how helpful this kind of support can be.

Homeschooling can be a lot to carry — especially when reading or spelling isn’t clicking the way you hoped.

I’m now supporting homeschool families by working alongside your existing curriculum, stepping in to reinforce skills, add explanation when needed, and help monitor progress along the way.

This isn’t about replacing what you’re doing — just supporting you where it matters most.

If you’ve ever thought, “If I have to read this book one more time…” — you’re not alone 😅

Kids don’t ask for the same story over and over to drive us nuts. Repetition helps them feel safe, understand the language, and really take the story in.

Pro tip for parents:
If you’re losing your mind, try switching it up for yourself — silly voices, asking “what do you think happens next?”, or pointing out a tiny detail in the pictures you hadn’t noticed before.

You stay engaged, and they’re still soaking up all the learning.
