UMMRA Zoom Gathering Octoer 21, 2021. 12:00 PM Central Time (US and Canada)
IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT for you to join the zoom OR send a message to the UMMRA Steering Committee (emails below). We need to hear your thoughts on building a dynamic future for UMMRA.
Currently there are about 30 paid UMMRA members and we have a little over $1100. in our treasury. You are all on the UMMRA list serve and get news from the Morris campus. As retirees, we are also entitled to have a free UMM parking pass. So why become a paid member? UMMRA members get a 10 % discount at the bookstore. Your dues provide funds for contributions to UMN Morris scholarships and give you access to the University Retirees Association at no charge. Dues also cover expenses for activities. AND your dues are tax deductible.
The UMMRA Steering Committee is considering reformatting our structure to better serve you. We want to give you more access to UMN information and electronic updates on member's activities. With a few volunteers we hope to produce more newsletters, have social gatherings and have more presentations. Let's talk about it.
