Morris Plains Co-op Play School We are a private, non-profit, non-sectarian cooperative play school with certified teachers.

Our school is committed to developing the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth of children through developmentally appropriate programs, methods, and materials. The outstanding feature of cooperative school is the active and regular role which parents play in the classrooms and the boardroom. The school's child-centered philosophy is based on a flexible approach to early education,

a positive approach to discipline, a commitment to parent education, and the belief that children learn best through play.

We’re so grateful to the All Seasons Garden Club for spending time with our preschoolers planting in our garden! 🌱

This is a special tradition our children look forward to each year, and it’s such a meaningful hands-on experience for them.

Already, the children are taking pride in caring for their garden—watering, checking on their plants, and watching everything grow. 💦☀️🌈Thank you for helping us plant not just vegetables, but a love of nature and responsibility in our little learners! 💚

⚾️ What a fun afternoon! ⚾️ Thank you to all of our current and alumni Co-op families (pictured and not pictured) who joined us for our Family Day at the Somerset Patriots ballpark! We were lucky to have beautiful (and very warm!) weather, and it was so much fun to spend time together outside of school.

From cheering in the stands to sharing snacks and enjoying each other’s company, it was a great reminder of how wonderful our community is. Opportunities like this to connect, relax, and build relationships are such an important part of what makes our Co-op so special. 🥰
