Does your student struggle to complete chores or assignments, remember important information, or focus on a particular task? Try COLOR-CODING!

There have been multiple studies that link ADD/ADHD and the effects of color and color-coding organization!
Most individuals who struggle with attention and focus are considered visual learners - they process and remember information much better when they can see it! 👀
Don’t know how to incorporate it into your daily life?
🌿Color-code chore lists in the house for different children or different areas of the house.
🌿Use different colored bins and tubs for different toys or materials.
🌿For students who struggle to focus through a long passage, I like to highlight each paragraph in a different color to visually break up the article. (Check out the example below!)

Time for ! ❤️
While letter and number recognition are equally important in preschool, oral language development can get overlooked! 🥴 Encourage young learners to expand vocabulary and improve communication skills through imaginative play or easy activities like the one below! ⬇️
The skills you can cover:
🌿name recognition
🌿tracing letters of the name
🌿difference between uppercase and lowercase letters
🌿put letters of the name on sticky notes and let your student match them to the written ones
🌿fine motor skills with coloring and pencil grip
🌿vocabulary extension with parts of the body
🌿five senses (sight, hearing, taste, touch, smell) and which part of the body is responsible for it
🌿color different clothes for different types of weather and discuss temperature (hot vs. cold) and weather (“What should we wear when it’s raining?”)
🌿describing themselves or another person (brown hair, blue eyes, tall, short, etc…)
🌿counting fingers and toes on hands and feet
🌿same vs. different (“We both have brown eyes, but we have different colored hair!”)
The options are absolutely endless! 😊
