Help us support the MSHS Golf Team by participating in their First Annual Golf Fishing Tournament!

🐟 Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026
📍 Location: Lake Mecosta
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
💰 Cost: $50 per boat (2-person teams)

⛳ Half of all entry fees will go directly toward supporting the MSHS Golf Team!

🎟️ There will also be 50/50 drawings, prizes, and raffles! Additional donations are always welcome.

Mohawk Family,

We would like to inform our school community of a medical emergency involving a high school student that occurred on a school bus this morning.

School staff and transportation personnel responded immediately when the student became unresponsive. Emergency medical services were contacted, and appropriate emergency procedures were followed. Upon arrival, the student was cared for by the school transportation director and bus driver. Continued care was provided by the school’s Medical Emergency Response Team and medical responders from the Mecosta County and Morley fire and rescue departments. Emergency Medical Services then assumed care and transported the student to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

We are grateful to our transportation staff, school personnel, emergency responders, and medical professionals for their quick and professional response.

Out of respect for the student and the student’s family, the district will not release additional medical information or details regarding the student’s condition.

We recognize that an incident such as this can be concerning for students, families, and staff. Our thoughts are with the student and family, and we ask our school community to respect their privacy at this time.

The district will continue to provide support to students and staff as needed and will share additional information if appropriate, while giving full consideration to the family’s privacy.
