Chopticon High School Band Boosters The Chopticon High School Marching Band Boosters The Chopticon Marching Band is directed by Ms. Cecelia Badovski, a Chopticon High School Graduate.

The marching band has won numerous awards in local, state, and national championships. The band students are also a part of the broader school community, performing at football games and in smaller indoor ensembles including their award winning Concert and Symphonic bands, Jazz Band, and the Pit for school musicals. Additionally, the band represents the school during annual community events, incl

uding the Blessing of the Fleet at St. Clement’s Island and the Veterans’ Day parade in St. Mary’s County. They are truly “The Showband of Southern Maryland.”

Put on your calender this Friday at 5:15 pm at Chopticon HS (in the bus loop) come check out your CHS marching band show off what they have learned and practiced in the last 2 weeks of band camp! Families, friends and everyone is welcomed! We even got your dinner covered so you don't have to cook! Food trucks on site and available for purchase from 5-7pm! Can't wait to see everyone there!❤️

Super Thankful for everyone who came out to support our car wash today!! Thank you to Pizza Hotline Charlotte Hall, MD for allowing us the use of your parking lot and for feeding the kids!! Thank you to Tre Cool for swinging through today and showing our kids that "once a band kid, always a band kid", you brightened their day today for sure!! Thank you to St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office for being our first customer of the day, your support is truly appreciated!! Thank you to the kids who showed up and worked hard, Thank you to the parents who set up and helped ensure the kids had what they need to make today successful!! This is what its all about!!
