Summer SAT classes for the new shorter Digital SAT are the best way for rising Juniors to get their scores before school even starts on the Aug 24th SAT. Too many juniors wait till the Spring based on faulty guidance and then end up frantically trying to study for the SAT while juggling APs or worse as seniors while trying to write essays for applications at the same time.

Ideally, Juniors should be locked in with scores before January, so they can use their spring GPA and test scores to pick their target and reach schools based on their school’s admits from previous years. Unfortunately,they are not going to learn anything in school their Junior year to help them prepare for the SAT.

But our comprehensive summer SAT class taught by Ivy League instructors with over 20 years of experience will set them up for success. We write our own materials and tests with answers and explanations and offer plenty of drop in one on one tutoring outside of class. As evidence, our spring students have already seen impressive scores like a 1570 from a sophomore on her first test. Many more gained over 200 points on the new DSAT during school no less . In fact, our new reading materials have helped spring students on average increase their reading scores by an impressive 120 points. Summer is where kids can really maximize their efforts and pick up the most points, so don’t miss out.

For rising Juniors, summer is the best time to prep and take their first test. Testing early as a junior is important as most students will need to test twice, especially a second time once they are in the 1500s. Testing later in their junior year puts them at risk of having to start applications without having their scores locked in before Senior year. Avoid the drama!

So proud of one of our female students who scored a perfect score 800 reading in October and 800 in math today on the December exam. This allows her to superscore a 1600 perfect score which puts her in the top .07 % if SAT test takers. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉What a great way to end the paper test! Our June 2021 Online SAT Class is now closing for Registration ! Our new online classes have been very popular this past summer/fall with registration surpassing last year's as many families have decided to take advantage of not only our significantly reduced admission cost but also the gap in kids' schedules due to cancelled after school programs and vacations. We are very excited by the results from our online SAT classes—some students improving their scores by over 350 points and 5 earning perfect scores. However, those results did not come without effort from our students and from ourselves.

At Focused Coaching, we work very hard to ensure that our students have the very best virtual learning experience possible by engaging with our students, encouraging them to talk and ask questions in class, and offering them access to teachers via free extra hours online sessions twice a week and through email and text, so students can ask questions and connect with teachers in a more personal way.

All online classes have the benefit of two instructors: Master Coaches (Jason Frazzano and Stacy Collerette) both with over 15 years of experience and 5000 students taught in Monmouth County alone. Jason is a graduate of both Stanford and Columbia Law School.
