ITR Training Institute ITR Training Institute offers a 2 part training course focused on the Instinctual Trauma Response model for professionals in the mental health field.

ITR Training Institute LLC, is offering a two part training course focused on the Instinctual Trauma Response model. For those individuals who would like to receive an in-depth training of specific clinical methods that are effective in treating PTSD and Dissociative Disorders resulting from traumatic events, this course is for you! Both the ATC and practicum are 4-consecutive business day courses

held in Morgantown, WV. The cost of the ATC (first part) is $1200 for any graduate student in mental health and $1000 for students in a master’s program in mental health (students in a master’s program must have a valid student ID from an accredited university). This fee covers course materials and continuing education credits. The cost of the practicum (second part) is $1000. The practicum is the final requirement to obtain a certification as a CTT (Certified Trauma Therapist). The practicum allows clinicians the opportunity to observe and practice the clinical procedures of the ITR model. The practicum is scheduled as needed. Must have at least 4 interested in registering for the course in order for it to be scheduled. The maximum of participants will be 6. ITR Training Institute LLC is an approved ACEP with NBCC, WVBSW, and WVBEC.

Attention Past Accelerated Trauma Trained Therapists: The ITR Training Institute is putting together a training/refresher course for those interested in learning what has been added to the ATC course over the years. We also want to add an advanced hypnosis course to the training. We would like your input as to how many people are interested in the course and what things they would like to see included in the course. We will have more details about course CEUs and length of the course when we find out what the needs are in the mental health community.
