🎒✨ A New School Year Has Begun! ✨🎒

This week marked the first week of our new school year, and all of our friends officially moved into their new classrooms! 💛

From exploring new learning centers and creating beautiful artwork, to practicing names, building, pretending, and making new friends, our classrooms have been full of learning, laughter, and lots of busy little hands! 🖍️🎨🧩🚂

Moving into a new classroom is such a big milestone. Our friends are getting to know their new teachers, learning new routines, exploring new spaces, and gaining confidence along the way. We are so proud of how well everyone is settling in!

We’re looking forward to a wonderful year filled with learning, growing, exploring, and making memories together! 🍎📚❤️

🚒🥚 A huge THANK YOU to the Morgantown Fire Department for helping make our KRSC Annual Egg Drop another unforgettable event!

Our campers put their creativity and engineering skills to the test by designing protective containers to keep their eggs safe during the drop from the ladder truck. The excitement on their faces as they watched their creations soar through the air was priceless!

We are so grateful to the firefighters for taking the time to visit, share their incredible ladder truck, and make this hands-on STEM activity such a memorable experience for our campers. Thank you for supporting our program and helping create lasting summer memories! ❤️🚒🥚💛

✏️🤲 Mrs. Kristen’s class has been hard at work strengthening their early writing skills through hands-on, sensory learning!

Using their fingers as pencils and sand-filled trays as paper, the children practiced writing letters and words in a fun and engaging way. This multi-sensory activity helps build fine motor skills, encourages proper letter formation, and supports early literacy development in a way that’s both meaningful and exciting.

At Suncrest Early Learning Center, we love creating opportunities for children to learn through play and exploration. Way to go, Mrs. Kristen’s class! 💙✨

🚀✨ 3…2…1… Blast off into Space Week with Ms. Meg’s class! 🌎🪐👽

This week our little astronauts are exploring the wonders of outer space! From twinkling stars ⭐ and colorful planets 🪐 to some silly little aliens 👽, every day is filled with hands-on learning and fun.

At our math station, the children practiced number recognition and counting by matching the correct number of googly eyes to their friendly aliens. It was a fun way to build early math skills while getting creative! They also had a blast exploring our space-themed sensory bin, searching through the “galaxy” to discover planets, stars, and other space treasures.

Learning is always an adventure when imagination takes us to the stars! 🌟💙
