Musket (Youth Mascot) Position Opening
Musket is the Mountaineer’s best friend and appears at various events at schools, athletic events, summer camps for kids, etc. upon request. The Musket costume is designed for someone between 5’10” and 6’2”. This person will also need to be comfortable in the costume. We are looking for someone with an outgoing, fun and engaging personality. Musket interacts with lots of fans… posing for photos, dancing and joking around with the kids. The events are booked based on Musket’s availability and the pay for this position is $10 an hour. If interested, reach out directly to [email protected].

The last day to drop an individual course for the full Spring term with “W” or withdraw from all your courses for the Spring term is Friday, April 17th.

If an individual course does not run the full Spring term, the dates for dropping with a “W” may be different. Please go to the link provided below to view the drop dates for the different term calendars.

When sending an email requesting assistance, please do so from your student MIX account only. Make sure to include your student ID in the email. Students who have a hold on their account and cannot withdraw on their own through STAR must email their request to withdraw by the April 17th deadline by 11:59 p.m. EST to be considered. However, if the hold is a judicial hold, the Office of the Registrar will not be able to drop your courses. You must get in contact with the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities to get the hold removed before courses can be dropped.
