We are excited to spend the week learning alongside our friends at the June Harless Center at Marshall University at SREB in Nashville! Let’s go!

West Virginia is well represented at the SREB 2026 Making Schools Work Conference!

We are proud to see the June Harless Center for Rural Educational Research and Development and the West Virginia Public Education Collaborative coming together at this year’s conference—not only to learn alongside education leaders from across the nation, but also to share the innovative work happening right here in the Mountain State.

Both organizations are presenting at this year’s conference, highlighting programs, practices, and partnerships that are making a difference across our state. We are proud to represent West Virginia and even prouder to do it together!

Through hands-on, hockey-inspired activities, students explore science concepts while developing teamwork, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Together, we hope to get students excited about science and grow the game of hockey in West Virginia. 🐧

Elementary school students in West Virginia and Pennsylvania will soon explore science through the lens of hockey thanks to a new partnership involving the West Virginia Public Education Collaborative and the STEAM Technical Assistance Center, housed in the West Virginia University Office of the Pro...

Remake Learning Days in West Virginia is underway! 🌟

Pierpont Community and Technical College welcomed families to its Culinary Academy this morning for a cooking class where attendees prepared savory and sweet empanadas and sourdough tortillas together.

The shared cooking experience taught practical skills, encouraged confidence in the kitchen, and introduced young learners to cooking, nutrition, and food-related careers.
