Before the lights come up and the music begins, a one-woman show has already spent hours making the performance possible.

For WVU College of Creative Arts and Media alum Cassandra Muhr, that means managing ticket sales, coordinating volunteers, supporting musicians, overseeing marketing efforts and helping lead a sold-out season for the Washington Symphony Orchestra

She credits the WVU Music Industry Program master's program with giving her the skills and confidence to lead.
