Purpose The aim of the study was to investigate the effects of specific acoustic patterns on word learning and segmentation in 8- to 11-year-old children and in college students.

Work done in collaboration with the University of Pittsburgh is now published in eNeuro. We trained adults to read an alphabet that uses houses as letters and examined their brain activity before and after the training.
