Two of our Master of Health Administration students had the opportunity to take learning beyond the classroom this past spring—all the way to Panama, in fact, with the WVU Global Medical and Dental Brigades! 🌎

Through the unique experience, students connected with local communities, learned from different cultural backgrounds, and saw firsthand how public health and healthcare intersect on a global scale. Experiences like these broaden students’ perspectives and help them see how healthcare systems and public health efforts differ across communities and countries.

See the student experience through a global lens. 🎥

Associate Professor Carrie Groth represented the School of Public Health on the international stage earlier this week when she presented research at the EPICOH Conference in Sweden. 🌍

Her research explores the relationship between cleaning and disinfection product use and asthma-related health outcomes among healthcare workers. The findings will ultimately help inform ways to reduce asthma-related risks for healthcare workers.

Thank you for sharing impactful research that is helping create healthier workplaces around the world! 👏
