Where are you from? Foley, Alabama

Where did you go to college? Pensacola Christian College, Pensacola Theological Seminary

What did you study? Youth Ministries, Master of Divinity

What subject/grade will you be teaching? 7-10th grade Bible, 9th grade PE

What is your favorite hobby? Pickleball

What are you most looking forward to this school year? Getting experience teaching, but specifically getting to teach my students about God's Word and sound doctrine.

Why is teaching at a Christian school important to you? Being able to teach from biblical/christian worldview and opportunity to disciple in God’s Word.

Get to know one of our new high school teachers, Mr. Brandon Callahan!

Where are you from? Brandon, MS

Where did you go to college? I attended and graduated from Pensacola Christian College.

What did you study? My undergraduate degree is in History education, and my graduate degree is a Masters of Divinity.

What subject/grade will you be teaching? I will be teaching middle school and high school history classes.

What is your favorite hobby? I love to be outside and hike, collect and talk about comic books, and play the guitar.

What are you most looking forward to this school year? I am excited to be able to disciple and minister to my students in a classroom setting.

Why is teaching at a Christian school important to you? My faith in God is incredibly important to me and I knew I wanted to be at a ministry where my love for God will be encouraged and not discouraged.

Get to know our new fourth grade teacher, Mrs. Aubree Brown!

Where are you from? I’m from Morgantown West Virginia

Where did you go to college? I went to Appalachian Bible College my freshman year, Fairmont State for sophomore year and Charleston Southern University for my junior and senior years.

What did you study? I studied Elementary Education.

What is your favorite hobby? My favorite hobby is couponing and finding great deals.

What are you most looking forward to this school year? I am looking forward to getting to know my students and being able to create a classroom where my students are excited to learn!

Why is teaching at a Christian school important to you? As a Christian, I think Christian education is very important. I went to MCA for most of my education and I loved my experience there. I am thankful to teach at MCA because it’s important to me to make sure that kids know that they have a Creator who loves them and has created them for a very special purpose.

It was great to see our students back on campus today for High School Orientation! We’re excited to have everyone back and are looking forward to a great year ahead. We can’t wait to welcome our elementary students tomorrow night!

Our teachers have been hard at work during Teacher In-Service this week, preparing their classrooms and getting everything ready for High School and Elementary Orientation! We’re excited to see our classrooms come to life and can’t wait to welcome our students back for another great year at MCA!

Exciting news to share!!

After completing a thorough self-study process that included a review of school manuals, procedures, policies, and institutional practices, Morgantown Christian Academy in Morgantown, West Virginia, hosted a team of educators for a peer review visit on May 19, 2026. The visiting team recommended Morgantown Christian Academy for Pathway Accreditation to the American Association of Christian Schools Accreditation Commission. The Commission met on June 17, 2026, and unanimously granted MCA Pathway Accreditation for a three-year term.
