Last week some of our seniors and faculty members got the opportunity to attend the West Virginia Oral Health Coalition! There they got to learn the importance of spreading oral health awareness to West Virginians! 💛💙

We had such a wonderful time welcoming the freshman class to SADHA at our annual picnic! We got to introduce ourselves and the faculty members, and played some fun games to get to know each other! We can’t wait for a wonderful year spent together 🦷🧚

This morning, our third and fourth year dental hygiene students got the opportunity to attend this year’s Mesaros Symposium! They learned from Dr. Ching-Chang Ko of the Ohio State University School of Dentistry about the role of artificial intelligence in dentistry! 🦷

That’s a wrap on rural rotation! The class of 2027 finished their rotations this month at their rural offices, giving them a first hand look at what it’s like to work at a private practice. So proud of the juniors for their hard work and dedication this summer. Senior year here they come, let the final countdown begin! 🎓🦷

Kyra will be spending her summer giving back to the program by helping in the sophomore dental hygiene clinic at the WVU School of Dentistry—an amazing opportunity to mentor future clinicians while continuing to grow her own skills and experience. After summer clinic, Kyra will begin the next chapter of her career at Aspen Dental in Chesterfield, Virginia. Your dedication, leadership, and passion for patient care have brought you to this exciting milestone, and we are so proud of all you’ve accomplished.
