📚 2026–2027 NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT NOW OPEN! 🎓

The enrollment window for new students attending Butler County Schools for the 2026–2027 school year is now open!

✅ Visit ButlerSchools.net and click the "Enroll in BCS" tab to begin the online enrollment process.

Nonresident Student Enrollment Information:
Students residing outside of Butler County who wish to enroll must:

Complete the online enrollment application.
Submit a Nonresident Transfer Form to the District Personnel Director (DPP) at the Butler County Board of Education.

📅 Nonresident Transfer Forms must be submitted by August 1, 2026, in accordance with district policy.

The preschoolers at Butler County Early Childhood Center had some incredible visitors this week.

Firefighters, police officers, the National Guard, a local beekeeper, doctors, veterinarians, and more came through BCEC to share what they do and why it matters. For our youngest learners, seeing familiar faces from Butler County walk through that door is how they start to understand that this community belongs to them, and they belong to it.

Hello!
I’m so excited to be joining Butler County Schools as your school psychologist!

This year marks my fifth year as a school psychologist, and I feel so grateful that my journey has brought me back home to Kentucky—and now to Butler County.

I’m thrilled to be part of this community and can’t wait to support students in learning, growing, and becoming the best they can be. Looking forward to a great year together!

Learning beyond the classroom 🌊🐟

Butler County High School Marine Biology students recently explored coastal ecosystems firsthand at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab!

From designing ocean current tools to studying marine life and kayaking through marsh habitats, these students brought learning to life while developing a deeper understanding of environmental stewardship.

This is Global Citizenship in action: thinking beyond ourselves and taking responsibility for our world 🌍
