On March 5, the WVU MBA Class of 2022 had the great opportunity to volunteer at The Pantry Plus More in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The mission of Pantry Plus is two-fold:

"To eliminate hunger in children by operating in-school pantries stocked with food, hygiene products, school supplies, and clothing. This eliminates the barriers of transportation, money, paperwork, and emotional hardships shame and provides children with the resources they need to learn, grow, and develop."

"To partner with local entities that are also committed to ending hunger in Monongalia County. This expands our reach to different areas and helps us provide sustenance to families and individuals."

The efforts of this one (1) Saturday morning helped to bring food & other necessities to over 150 families in the greater Monongalia County area.

We would like to thank Dr. Liz Vitullo and Tom Bloom for extending and arranging this wonderful volunteer opportunity and helping our class contribute in making a difference in Monongalia County!

The MBA Class of 2022 was proud to support a GREAT local cause by way of a charity 5K!

Students at WVU have long been supporters of the RFH, especially through providing meals for our guests. With COVID, and not being able to have dinner groups, the MBA program from WVU took on the challenge of hosting a 5K with Rosenbaum Family House being the beneficiary of the proceeds. We are proud to announce that this event raised $400 for the families of the RFH. Pictured with Director, Teri Ford are Nick Blue and Bobby Nutter (left to right). Hello, my name is Bobby Nutter and I am honored to serve as the 2022 MBA WVU Class President!

Last weekend versus LIU, the MBA Class of 2022 hosted our first tailgate in the Blue Lot. Food was sponsored by RJB Investment Group LLC and was catered by Backyard BBQ. There was not only a huge turnout by the class of 2022 but also recent alumni and professors from WVU B&E.

As we continue to grow this culture of networking and Mountaineer spirit, we ask that any MBA Alumni who wish to join us contact the Class Secretary, Faith Mueller, at [email protected].

Over winter break, our MBA case competition team had the opportunity to compete in the 2020 John Molson MBA Intentional Case Competition at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. The competition brought together MBA students from every part of the globe in a round-robin, 4 day, 5 case format. It was an incredible honor for our students to represent the United States and be the first team from West Virginia to ever compete in the competition. We are very proud of our team and all that they accomplished! ✈️✏️💛💙
