Had a great time on Wednesday reading at the Fannin County Public Library story time. I had the privilege to read twice, 11 and 4:30.

I read The Beeman and Show me the Honey, two bee based books. I also got to introduce the kids to beekeeping equipment and beekeeping.

Once a teacher always a teacher. Once an educational leader always an educational leader.

When you are voting on Tuesday remember experience matters.

ATTENTION VOTERS!!!!
We are just over 7% voter turnout in Fannin County with over 20 thousand active voters still having not voted yet!!!!
Not only is this the Republican primary where you the people choose the Republican nominees, it’s also several judges election!!!!
What this means is that they are already facing democrat opposition!!!!
Currently the democrats in the state are outnumbering the republicans in early voting.
Every republican judge is in danger of losing their seat to democrats this primary!!!!
This is very important!!!!
It’s a tactic that the democrats are trying to use to win as many seats as possible!!!!
Let’s show up and vote every republican on the ballot so we can keep republican principles moving forward!!!!

Georgia is celebrating the power of "earn while you learn" during National Apprenticeship Week!

Through GaDOE's Para to Teacher Apprenticeship Pathway, 139 registered apprentices and 47 pre-apprentices across 31 districts are working toward teacher certification—while continuing to support students in the classroom.

This hands-on pathway combines job-embedded learning, college coursework, and mentorship to help future educators build their skills and make an immediate impact. With support from 19 in-state colleges and universities and a $3.9 million federal grant, the program is expanding opportunities—especially in rural communities.

As one apprentice shared, "I'm just super thankful… and I can't wait to become a teacher one day."
