Hey you all, we are looking to help out a friend. It’s not the normal pottery picture, but we all love our animals and a good conclusion.

Our neighbor’s mother passed and he now has to rehome her cats. They are about 9 and very sweet and well mannered. Up to date on their shots and spayed/neutered. The dark one is a male, the gray is a female.

These two really need a home, thus sharing on this account as well as my personal. If you would like more info on this please reach out. Please share so these two don’t end up at the shelter!

Whoaaaa check out that blue! It breaks over the textured design perfectly. That’s a Lynn McWhorter piece and fresh out of the kiln. It’s a looker!

A nice medium sized face jug from Mary. There’s a bit of sgrafitto on this one too. Face jugs are wild, their history goes back to some of the earliest American crafts and traditionally used to keep kids out of the liquor. Today there are all different styles and designs from mild and tame to as ghastly and frightening as the maker can imagine. This one is pretty sweet and tame in comparison. Enjoy yet another rainy day!

Here’s a few vases that stand awfully proud. These are made by Damion Overcash and are some excellent flower vases. Also, a big congratulations to Damion on completing EMT school!

Beautiful fabric pieces by Sarah Britt. Sarah is a self taught artist with an incredible imagination and an equally good taste in music. We love it when she’s in the studio making her pieces, she’s one in a million!

Our friend Thomas McCrary continues to make the best string art around. Way to knock it out, Thomas!

Bren has a small army of facepots in the works, can’t wait to see how they turn out! They are currently residing in the kiln cooling off, they were put to the heat up to 2175, now the patient waiting game until they are cool enough to unload.

Why yes, there are a few pieces of Glenn Tanzer’s still at the studio! Glenn was one of the first members of WUAS. He has since retired from pottery, but we keep his last pieces around for those faithful followers. Happy Saturday!🙂

These little leggy pieces will lighten up that spot on your shelf for sure! They are playful, quirky and fun little creatures. These are made by Sarah Wilder and are a two tone blend of different dark and rich clay bodies. We’ve got a couple of these, hope to see you today at WUAS!
