Freedom High School

BCPS will host our annual high school football JAMBOREE on Friday at Patton High School. First scrimmage kicks off at 6:30 p.m. In addition to the action on the field, community agencies will set up information booths started at 6 p.m. Admission is $10. No passes will be accepted. Those 10 and under get in for free. Please note we will follow our safe gate entry procedures with only clear bags allowed and walk-through metal detectors in place. Let's get ready for some football!

FHS Back to School Reminders:

Schedule pick up will be held on Wednesday, August 12th for 11th and 12th graders and Thursday, August 13th for 9th and 10th graders. Both days are from 8:30-12:00 (noon). This will take place in the back lobby area.

Open House is on August 18th. from 4:00-6:30
Recommended times are as follows:
11th-12th grades: 4:00-4:45
10th grade: 4:45-5:30
9th grade: 5:30-6:30 (will begin in the gym)

A Class of 2027 Kick Off night will be on August 19th and seniors and their families are invited to stop by between 6:00-7:30 pm to learn more about senior year.

Students may pick up their schedules in the back lobby on the following dates:

Wednesday, August 12
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Noon)
• 11th & 12th Grade Students

Thursday, August 13
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Noon)
• 9th & 10th Grade Students

Our School Counselors will be available during schedule pick-up to assist students with any schedule questions or concerns.

🚗 Student Parking Pass Information 🚗

Parking pass sales are just around the corner!

-August 3: Seniors may begin purchasing their parking passes.

-August 10: Parking passes will be available for the rest of the student body.

Please note: All outstanding school debts must be paid in full before a parking pass can be purchased.

Don’t wait until the last minute—take care of any outstanding balances now so you’re ready when your purchase date arrives. We look forward to seeing everyone back on campus soon!

We know the senior portrait appointments filled up quickly! Don’t worry if you weren’t able to grab an August time slot. We will be adding more appointment dates in September and October.

Our goal is for every senior to have their portraits taken, so there will be plenty of opportunities. Keep an eye on our page and your email for upcoming dates and sign-up information!
