We are seeing higher than normal rates of heat related incidents these days...Did you know NFPA 1584 Standard on the Rehabilitation Process for Members During Emergency Operations and Training Exercises is a great source for developing a departmental Rehab policy?

We are developing an Agriculture & Large Animal Rescue and Safety Training program for the new ESTC. We are actively seeking a donation of an "out of service" tractor and implements to be used for our machinery extrication training program. This tractor will be used as a rollover training prop. So, if you know of anyone getting rid of old farm equipment please contact me at [email protected].
Thanks,
Trey Smith

Please join us in congratulating WPCC Instructor & Triple Community Fire Chief Michael Carswell on his successful completion of becoming a qualified Rope Rescue Technician Instructor. This qualification is no easy feat... it requires over 200+ hours of instruction, a 5-year wait time, and an intense evaluation requiring a 100% score of all hands-on practicals and a score of 80% or greater on the written exam. Look for our upcoming Rope Rescue Technician series coming in the late Summer or early Fall of 2026 at the new ESTC.
