Introducing the Board!

Jordan Lowe, Chair

Works at Western Piedmont Community College

Jordan Lowe has been a staff academic advisor at Western Piedmont Community College since 2022. He primarily assists transfer students who are pursuing an Associate’s degree in Arts or Science. Additionally, Jordan offers transfer counseling for students with questions about transferring to a college or university. He ensures that WPCC has established contacts with admissions counselors at partner institutions.

Jordan graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Rowan University in 2017 and a Master’s degree in Human Services from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2023. Alongside his advising role, he teaches part-time at Western Piedmont Community College. Jordan finds great fulfillment in helping students succeed, as he believes that everyone’s educational journey is unique and rewarding to be part of.

Uniting Our Voices: Building Our NC Advising Community Join us September 24-26, 2025 at Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington, NC as we network and learn together!

This week there will be a virtual information session for students interested in the health-field at Appalachian State.
