SCHOOL CLOSED TODAY, FRIDAY, MARCH 7th for BMC and WPCC. Please stay safe!

SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW, JAN. 30TH! Students, Burke County Schools will be closed for tomorrow. Which means, NO BMC classes. HOWEVER, WPCC will operate on a two-hour delay. This means that whatever college class you would be sitting in at 10am is where you should go. Any class meeting after 10am, will operate on their normal schedule. As always, decide with your parents the best option for driving to school. You are responsible for your college courses, but we do want you to make the safest decision. Be safe!!

DELAY SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW, JAN. 8TH. Students because of the two-hour delay, the schedule will be as follows:

School will start at 10:00am. Report to the high school class meeting at that time as it appears on your schedule.
1) For example, if you are in Mrs. Williams 9:30 Advanced Functions Class, you will meet in her room at 10:00am.
2) If you are in Mrs. Wall's 9:00am English 11 class, you will NOT have this class.
3) ALL OTHER HIGH SCHOOL CLASSES, OTHER THAN THE TWO LISTED ABOVE, WILL MEET AS NORMAL PER YOUR STUDENT SCHEDULE!!!!!
**REMEMBER, we do not adjust schedules or move classes back two hours... you will go to your regularly scheduled meeting time if it does not fall under example 1 or 2 listed above.

DELAY SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW, JAN. 7TH: Students because of the two-hour delay, the schedule will be as follows:
1) Those students who made a D, F, or were withdrawn from a college course, will meet from 10:30-12:30 with Mr. Foddrell and Mrs. Crawford for schedule adjustments, etc.
2) Everyone else will meet at 11:30 at Mimosa Lanes Bowling in Morganton. Please bring money for a drink and SOCKS! We will have pizza!

SCHEDULE FOR TOMORROW, JAN. 6TH! Students because of the three-hour delay, we will meet at 11:30 in Leviton Auditorium and we will leave at 1:30. Please be there!
Also, if you can, bring your schedules and textbook rental fees and we will begin handing out college textbooks. For most of you, Ms. Moose met with you in December to let you know what you need. If not, we will let you know what you need! College classes START this Thursday!

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA FUNDRAISER BREAKFAST! Burke Middle College will host a BUFFET breakfast fundraiser at Friday Friends in Morganton, NC on Saturday, Dec. 7th from 8:00-10:00am. The Buffet includes all types of wonderful food and unlimited drink for $8.00 a ticket. Children 2 and under eat free with each paid ticket. As an added bonus, we will have Santa AND Mrs. Claus there. Children will receive a treat from Santa and parents can take photos for free! You can purchase tickets at the door! Also, our BMC chorus will be on hand to provide a selection of Christmas music! Please come out and support BMC!

UPDATE ON DELAY: BMC and WPCC will operate on a three-hour delay, tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 26th due to potential inclement weather. Students, remember this means that wherever you would normally be sitting at 11:00am is where you should be. WE OPEN at 11:00am! Please be at your correct classes by this time! ALL classes prior to 11:00am are cancelled. If any new changes arise, we will let you know! Students, spread the word! Be careful tomorrow!

THREE-HOUR DELAY for Tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 26th. Burke County Schools will operate on a 3 hour delay tomorrow due to potential inclement weather. Remember students that this means high school classes will meet starting at 11am. Any high school classes that meet prior to 11:00am WILL NOT meet. Come to your FIRST high school class from 11am on. There is currently NO decision yet about WPCC classes. Therefore, for right now, assume that their classes will begin at 8am. We will update this post as soon as any other details become available. CHORUS: The first chorus practice will be Wednesday, Sept.11 at 3:00 in Leviton Auditorium. Anyone should attend!!

RETURNING STUDENTS: Please make sure you arrive at school tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 6th no later than 8:30am.

Also, please bring your college textbooks you borrowed during the summer! We really need these as soon as possible so that we can hand out books for the fall!

SENIORS: Make sure you have received a letter outlining the first week of school (times, places, etc.). If you have not received a letter, please let me know. I will post more details about dates and times by the end of this week. See you all soon!
