Greetings All,

It's never too early to start thinking about Christmas and about being part of a community service project that creates a better Christmas for low-income preschoolers. We would love your help.

In order to help raise funds for Western Piedmont’s ABCs for Kids project (more information to come) you can help be a part of a live project of our English Language Learners students as they work toward a national work credential, Guest Service Gold®: Tourism, which leads to the Certified Guest Service Professional (CGSP®) certification. This credential serves as a gateway to employment and is a valuable add-on to their high school diploma.

The ABC for Kids Thrift Store will be setting up shop in Phiffer Hall, Classroom 92 (PFH 092). This is a wonderful chance to find quality items while supporting a great cause.

Here are the details:

Location: PFH 092

Dates: October 5th - 7th

Hours:

Morning: 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Evening: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Pricing:

$1.00 per item
$5.00 per bag

Ways you can help:

Donate gently used clothing for our thrift shop.

You may bring clothing donations to E-113.

Email or call Amy Canterbury at [email protected] or (828) 448-6706 with questions about clothing pick-up.

Shop the thrift sale during the hours listed above.

Proceeds from donations and the clothing sale go directly toward food and supplies for the ABC for Kids event.

Thank you for helping us make this Christmas brighter for kids in our community!
