Our mission is to teach adults and their families to read and/or improve their literacy skills and to instill in all those served a commitment to life-long learning! We offer in-person ESL classes at no cost to the Burke County community.

Our Family Literacy Program officially kicked off this week, and we couldn’t be more excited! ✨

One of the most special parts? Watching our students practice reading books they get to take home and add to their very own home libraries. These books aren’t just for reading in class—they’re for sharing stories, building confidence, and creating meaningful moments with their children.

Because when families learn and read together, they grow together. 💚

We’re so excited to see the memories, learning, and growth this program will bring to our families! 🌱

¡Esta semana dimos inicio oficialmente a nuestro Programa de Alfabetización Familiar y estamos muy emocionados! ✨

Una de las partes más bonitas es ver a nuestros estudiantes practicar la lectura con los libros que se llevan a casa para comenzar sus propias bibliotecas familiares. ¡Estos libros no son solo para leer en clase! También son una oportunidad para compartir historias con sus hijos, fortalecer su confianza y crear momentos especiales juntos.
