Our new 16-week Dental Assisting I course is now available!

This course is designed to teach students the necessary skills to become a Dental Assistant I in the State of N.C. Coursework includes instruction in general studies, biomedical sciences, dental sciences, clinical sciences, and clinical practice. A combination of lecture, laboratory, and clinical experiences provide students with knowledge in infection/hazard control, radiography, dental materials, preventive dentistry, and clinical procedures.

Congratulations to our North Carolina Dental Society Foundation Dental Workforce Development Scholarship recipients! Each student was awarded a $1,500 scholarship to help cover expenses not typically included in financial aid.

A special thank you to Dr. Kimberly Gragg and Meredith Murphy from the foundation for presenting the awards. We also extend our gratitude to Dogwood Health Trust for making this opportunity possible through their generous grant!
