It’s no April Fool’s over here. Things have been springing up and becoming more beautiful with Queen’s Catering. So much has taken my mind and heart off of this business that I love for some time now, but I’m proud to say that I am still here and I’m stronger than I have been in some time. To help nurture and grow what is already beautiful, I have brought Tami Stearns Sebastino on board as our Catering Coordinator. She will be the initial point of contact and will set us up for success pursuing your catering needs. She has compiled all of our favorite menus to support your ideas and will be happy to work with you. Please make her feel welcome and say hello 💕

It’s been awhile! While I have so many things left to share, I wanted to share a fun dinner I had the chance to prepare recently! An entirely vegetarian dinner!
I’m afraid I didn’t snap a picture of the pan fried vegetable pakoras, I did snap the following:
1 Crispy chickpeas, mango, watermelon radish, roasted red bell peppers, spring mix and jalapeno orange vinaigrette
2 Roasted vegetable coconut curry with cumin basmati rice
3 Indian milk cake with crushed pistachios and saffron
My sweet tiny mother .hicks assisted me with the management and approval of Charley Hicks! Thank you for the fun opportunity!

My dad would have been 65 years old today. He was a big pit boss man and he is an inspiration for a lot of the cooking I do. I couldn’t think of a better way to honor him on his birthday than by teaching a cooking class about things he would probably find to be quite tasty 🥹I couldn’t help but take pictures of our class because everyone was constantly smiling and made some beautiful food! We had individual beef wellingtons, duchess potatoes, and browned butter almond brussel sprouts. It was such a joy to share these recipes with this group and to also share memories of my dad who I know in my heart is super proud of me. Happy Birthday Valentines Day Daddy 💕🥹🤟🏻.

I love Ingles. And I’ll tell you why…the self serve olive and veggie bar. PLUS they often have steals on produce and carry some of my favorite ingredients but that’s another story for another day……and what I love about the olive bar is that you can customize your own blend to take home. From a variety of olives, to roasted garlic, peppadew peppers and my guilty pleasure-marinated mushrooms, you can have it your way! Hey! So when you need a quick little something for a snack or you have people coming over, go check it out. I arranged my items on a tray in little bowls with some nuts and a little rosemary garnish if folks wanted to “kick it up a notch“ but there’s truly so much to choose from and it will make you feel fancy, okay? 🥰

🤤recently made this quick Spanikopita that was one of the most decadent, crispy, buttery, and scrumptious things I’ve ever put in my mouth. 😭 If you or someone you know is in desperate need of filling their bellies with joy, join me for a Mediterranean cooking class this Wednesday evening! We will be making this together, alongside some other tasty dishes 💕

This little lambchop brother of mine did a big thing today 🥹and then had a Mt. Dew just like our dad would have done. I know he’s beyond proud…Charley is my favorite human in the world and after helping raise him and love him these 21 years, his graduation easily became one of my favorite moments in the world. WAY TO GO CHAR🥰
