Kendrew Vang has worked at Iredell Memorial Hospital as a medical lab technician for three years. He started as student and quickly learned that the workflow and team environment was something he enjoyed.

🔎🧪🔬Medical lab technicians (MLT) play a critical role in patient diagnoses and treatment plans. Iredell Health is fortunate to have employees like Kendrew that work to find these answers for our patients.

Still adding more wrinkles to their brains 🧠 even on the last day of MLT classes this semester! 🐂 💙 🎉
Our students ran patient samples on our EXL, clinical chemistry analyzer 🔬 and teamed up for an activity analyzing Levey-Jennings QC charts 📈🤝. Ending the semester with real-world skills, teamwork, and critical thinking! 👏
We are so proud of how much these students have accomplished this semester!
