Our Summer 2026 Cosmetology students are excited to begin taking clients and gaining valuable hands-on experience in the Cosmetology Center!

Thank you in advance for your continued support as our students build confidence, develop their skills, and prepare for successful careers in the beauty industry.

⚠️ Chemical services will not be accepted after 12:00 PM.

💵 Accepted Payment Methods: Cash or Check Only💇‍♀️ Services are offered at a discounted rate.
💜 Tips are allowed, but never expected.

Please remember that we are a school! Some students have previous salon experience, while others are working with clients for the very first time. Services may take longer than they would in a professional salon, so please plan to spend approximately twice the amount of time you normally would. Our goal is to help students gain confidence in both their technical skills and their client communication.

🎓More May Excitement in the Cosmetology Program!

The commitment these students have shown over the past 4–5 semesters has not gone unnoticed. They have spent countless hours in the classroom and salon, attending school 4–5 days a week, often for 7–8 hours a day, working tirelessly to earn their cosmetology license and/or associate degree.

Many of these students have balanced full-time jobs, third-shift schedules, weekend work, family responsibilities, and countless other challenges while pursuing their dreams. Their dedication, perseverance, and hard work have led them to this incredible accomplishment.

We are so proud of each graduate as they take the next step toward a career they have worked so hard to achieve. While we will miss seeing your faces walk through the doors of our cosmetology department, we are even more excited to watch you thrive in the beauty industry.

We cannot wait to see the beautiful hair, makeup, nails, and confidence you will create as you begin your professional journeys. Congratulations, graduates! We are incredibly proud of you and wish you nothing but success and happiness in your future careers. 💇‍♀️💄💅✨

The month of May has given us so much to celebrate, and one of the biggest highlights is recognizing our very own Program Coordinator, Jenna Chapman, for being named Teacher of the Year! 🏆💜

Jenna has been a vital part of Western Piedmont Community College since the Cosmetology Program opened its doors in 2017. Over the past nine years, she has poured her heart into this program, our students, and our college community. There is rarely a day that goes by that Jenna isn't working to make WPCC and our Cosmetology Program even better.

She takes the time to truly know each student, helping them grow not only as future professionals but as individuals. Even after graduation, she continues to support and encourage them as they begin their careers. Jenna's impact extends beyond our students she is also an incredible mentor to her fellow instructors, always guiding, encouraging, and helping us become better educators.

Her kindness, compassion, dedication, and servant's heart make her one of the most remarkable people you will ever meet. We are incredibly honored to see her receive this well-deserved recognition.

National Hair Stylist Day is coming up, and we are so thankful!💁‍♀️🖤

We are so thankful for each student who chose to become a Hair Stylist and help make the world a beautiful place. Your creativity, passion, and dedication do not go unnoticed, and we are so proud of each of you!

These front doors have a story to tell.

Over the course of four semesters, they’ve opened and closed roughly 224 days… 1,568 hours… over 94,000 seconds. Each moment marking a step in our students’ journeys.

They’ve felt the nervous hands of first-day jitters,
seen quick coffee runs and lunch breaks,
and watched students walk in unsure… and walk out confident.

These doors lead into the heart of our cosmetology center and back out into the world.

They’ve welcomed students in…
and now, they get to watch them walk out.

Not just leaving but stepping into their future.

Walking out with knowledge, passion, confidence, and a career they’ve worked so hard for.

It’s amazing when you stop and think about it.

We cannot wait to introduce each of our graduates and celebrate all they’ve accomplished over the next few weeks. Watching them grow into this next chapter is something truly special.

Our beginner students are finding their groove and building a strong foundation as they start their journey. 💇‍♀️

Our intermediate students, after a few semesters, are gaining confidence, refining their skills, and truly starting to shine. ✨

Our nail technology students are more than halfway through their program and are completing some truly awesome work! 💅

And our advanced students are just weeks away from stepping into the real world of cosmetology, ready to begin their careers! 🎓

We are incredibly proud of each and every student as they grow, learn, and succeed in this beautiful industry of cosmetologists. 💕
