The following students competed in the Union County Farm Bureau Outstanding Youth Speaking Contest. Cate Clements, Whitney Davis, Jada Wilson, and Ella Arnett. Overall male winner was Jack Clifton and Overall female was Jada Wilson.

Yesterday was a great day! Started early serving at Union County Schools opening day brunch. We also had some awesome FFA members presenting at opening day showing how they are engaged citizens. Then ended the day with our back to school picnic. Students got to bring in state fair exhibits, eat and play kick ball. It was a great day for UCHS FFA!

The Union County Outstanding Youth Farm Bureau Speaking Contest will be on August 25th at the Union County Farm Bureau Office! Applications are due August 24th! Please reach out to one of the Ag. Teachers or the Farm Bureau office for an application!

Thursday the UC FFA hosted the annual pedal tractor pull at the 76th Union County Fair! It was a great day for a FULL PULL and we set a new record with 77 total pullers !

Thank you to Charlie English Play “N” Hooky pulling for putting on the pull and sponsoring the adult class. Also thanks to our sponsor Channel seed.

We are so proud of our chapter and their hard work! Today we recognized everyone who competed at the state level. 

🥈Parliamentary procedure got 2nd in the state! Jack Clifton, Whitney Davis, Jada Wilson, Addison Dossett, Mallory Hendrickson, Cate Clements, and Macey Gray, Garret Mills.
🥈Kyra Meeks got 2nd in Dairy Agriculture Public Speaking.
🥉Kameron Davis got 3rd in his Ag Mechanics Repairs and Maintenance Proficiency. 

We also recognized Mallory Hendrickson, Jada Wilson, and Cate Clements for speaking at the state level. The Record keeping team competing at state was also recognized; Ella Arnett, Ava Burton, Bella Graham, and Emma Greenwell.
