We are excited to offer a junior youth orchestra program in Morgan County!

Since orchestra is not currently offered at either middle school, valley Music i is helping to fill the need through a youth orchestra program. The purpose of this program is to help prepare middle school students with the skills necessary for joining the high school or adult community orchestra in the future.

This program is designed for beginner and intermediate levels in violin, cello, viola, and string bass, and is geared primarily for middle students in grades 5-8; however, if someone falls just outside of that range they will also be permitted to join (dependent on current skill level).

The pricing listed is per semester but we do offer monthly payment plans at an adjusted rate if preferred. The spring semester will run January 26-May 11 on Mondays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. and we're looking for a minimum of 10 students in order to provide the best orchestral experience.

We missed being there at the table to hand out candy personally this Halloween, but hope everyone still got a treat! 🍬 🎃

We were cheering on our son and the Trojans at the football game tonight which they won...headed to semi-finals next weekend! 🏈

We're excited to offer strings classes again!

These classes will begin in September and are offered at a discounted rate to encourage continued participation in the arts for the students in our community to help supplement what is currently offered in the schools.🎻

Class options are an excellent complement to private lesson instruction:

•Beginner
•Intermediate

This year, we're also offering an additional class:
• Intro to Strings

This class is for those who are brand new to learning strings (violin or cello), providing a great foundation and stepping stone to prepare for future lessons.

All classes are geared toward middle schoolers, offering an engaging experience and a positive environment to learn music alongside of peers!

We had a great finale to our strings and voice camps last week! After only four days of focused instruction each camp performed for an audience of supportive family and friends.

The theme for Voice Camp was, "Family and Friends" feauturing songs that emphasized the relationships we all value most. 🤗

The theme for Strings Camp was "A Journey around the World" offering various sounds from featured cultures and countries.🌍

Both groups did fabulous! 🤩
