Charles "Charlie" Henry Bergeron

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles "Charlie" Henry Bergeron, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who left us on April 17, 2025, at the age of 71. Charlie was born on December 22, 1953, in Morgan City, Louisiana, where he would go on to build a life filled with passion and laughter.

Charlie was known for his dedication and hard work as the owner/operator of many businesses including Charlie's Lanes Bowling Alley . He had a knack for making everyone feel at home and was always ready with a smile. Outside of work, he was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed bowling, playing softball, and pitching horseshoes. Whether he was on the field or behind the scenes, he brought a competitive spirit and a love for fun that everyone admired.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Lola Pennison Bergeron; his daughter, Michele Bergeron; his son, Mark Bergeron and companion Ken Norton; grandchildren, Taylor, Alex and Charley Ann, brother, Wayne Bergeron and numerous nieces and nephews that he loved very much. He will be deeply missed, but his legacy of kindness and joy will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Bergeron and Ruth Daniel Bergeron, brother, Howard Sunny Bergeron, sister, Janet Daigle and aunt, Mildred "MiM" Daniel

Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Charlie’s life. A public viewing will take place at Twin City Funeral Home on April 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, visitation will resume April 25, 2025 from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM at Twin City Funeral Home. Mass will be held in his honor at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on April 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by his burial at 12:15 PM.

Join us as we remember the wonderful moments shared with Charlie, and the impact he had on so many lives. Your presence will mean the world to us as we come together to honor a remarkable man.

Sad news tonight I have heard about Donnie Rainwater. He has been in the hospital for a time touch and go. His wife Regina says that Donnie is going home Monday with hospice and waiting on his call home with Jesus.
Please pray for Donnie and his family.
I am just heartbroken about the loss of our classmates and know that we are all going in God's time. I just want to say I think of our time together as friends and classmates are a treasured one. Live, laugh and love each other because we are not promises tomorrow.
