Today we explored and learned the differences between tortoises and turtles š¢ here are some things we learned about tortoisesā¦ they have longer necks, eat mainly plants, lives in land, has a round and bumpy shell,the lighter the shell the warmer the climate, can live over 150 years, and smell using their throats! Some things we learned about turtles areā¦ they donāt not have teeth, amazing swimmers, some can lay up to 100 eggs, have smooth shells, eats insects and plants, and are very good at holding their breath!! Though turtles and tortoises both share a lot of traits they are also very different š Which reptile is your favorite?
