Our School

Pacific View Charter School is a K-12 tuition free, public charter school serving San Diego, Riverside, Orange, and Imperial counties that specializes in blended learning and on-line classes. The School provides an excellent educational alternative by partnering with parents and students through a Personalized Learning Model. High school students have the opportunity to receive their e

ducation through a blended learning format. Students work independently with the support of their parents or designated support person in addition to their Supervisory Teacher. Credentialed high school Supervisory Teachers meet with their families weekly. Most high school core courses are UC/a-g approved and supported by tutoring, labs, workshops, and/or field trips.

Hi families - just a friendly reminder that this week is the last week to order See's Candy for our school fundraiser. Due to Covid we were not able to do many of our other fundraisers so this one is extremely important! Share with family and friends since anyone can order and the candy is shipped directly to you!

We're finally able to have our first (and only!) fundraiser for the school year due to the pandemic. We're excited to be fundraising with See's Candy!

The candy ships directly to the buyer and we don't have to worry about any transactions (contactless fundraising).

Anyone can order through the link posted on the flyer or the QR Code.

Since this is the only fundraiser we have due to the Pandemic, we are really asking for your support. The money we raise will go to many things for our students, like our PAC Scholarships which we give out at graduation.

The fundraiser goes until the 19th.

You may know that our school funding has been capped for the school year, forcing us to go to a waitlist for new students who want to enroll at Pacific View. The Final Budget enacted on June 29, 2020 contains a cap on student funding to the 2019-20 level for all school districts and charter schools. This funding cap has a devastating impact on the choices that thousands of families make each year to change schools, move, or enroll in a charter school. As enacted, this cap will not provide any funding for new students.

Please help us work to get our funding restored. Click on this link to take action by contacting your elected officials today. Follow the steps in the link, pass along to anyone else you think will help in this effort and thanks for supporting all students! Link:

I just took action to oppose the exclusion of funding for growing nonclassroom-based charter schools in the state budget! Click here to do the same.

We’re requesting help to make a plea to the government regarding school funding during COVID-19. See the notice below:

Dear PVCS Community:
We have been notified from our charter school networks that there has been new legislation presented in Sacramento that has potentially severe negative effects on the future of charter school growth and funding. The Budget Trailer Bill AB77 proposes a cap on 2020-21 ADA to the 2019-20 levels.

This essentially means that any charter school that grows enrollment this year from last year, will not receive any additional funds to support the education of those new students.

While this is helpful for many schools and districts who are in declining enrollment, it has a devastating impact on the choices that thousands of families make each year to change schools, move or enroll in a charter school. This is unfair to those school districts and charter schools that have increasing enrollments, and undermines parents’ choices on the best school programs to serve their children for the coming school year. We believe that all students should generate school funding to the LEA in which they attend!

If you are interested in reaching out in opposition of this bill, please sign this petition and share it with your family and friends.
