As our kids celebrate the end of another school year WAHOO! . . . it's time to start thinking and planning on how to keep up with all that new knowledge so it doesn't start to fade.
TIPS: READ BOOKS! read every day - even short times will keep them in the habit and reinforce vocabulary
DO MATH GAMES while playing or cooking. Add up items at the grocery store. Simple quizzes so they remember basic math problems will go a long way next year!
VISIT MUSEUMS, ZOOS, EXHIBITS etc Enrich their minds by exploring fun new places!
SCHEDULE TUTORING - it is proven that students who continue to learn over the summer do better in the fall. It's a great chance to catch up or get ahead! Message or CALL TO SCHEDULE FUN SUMMER CAMP NOW!
Thankfully, “Summer Slide” is not inevitable. You can help your child keep their skills up and move forward by making the commitment to help your child climb up instead of slide down.
By taking this simple step, you will ensure that the only “slide” your child experiences this summer is the one at the playground.
