This week in Social Studies students began learning about the Salem Witch Trials. Students were tasked with finding the witch in the class. The kicker, however, is that there is no witch, leading students into a full Witch Hunt!
Today, students completed a CSI Investigation on the Salem Witch Trials. They examined evidence, read accounts from the time period, and created a full detective report explaining what they really think happened all those years ago in Salem.
Instead of just taking notes about the Salem Witch Trials, students got the chance to experience what it was like to investigate the evidence, question what they were being told, and come to their own conclusions about what really happened!
