Senior Sunrise 2026!

What better way to start the first day of school than watching the sunrise with our seniors!

Even though the weather didn’t quite cooperate and we had a little rain, we didn’t let that stop us! Our Craft Academy seniors gathered at Eagle Lake bright and early for Senior Sunrise, enjoying donuts, refreshments, and some time together before officially kicking off their final year at Craft Academy.

It may not have been the perfect morning, but we still made the most of it and started the year together!

Here’s to an amazing senior year, Class of 2027! 💙💛

We’re so proud of our alumni! Kate Black

Congratulations to Katie Black for completing her internship with CPE! Black assisted the Data Unit on several projects, including the State-Level Framework for Re-engaging Adult Learners. Prior to her data role, Black has also been very active in GEAR UP Kentucky, recently speaking at a legislative reception regarding the benefits of the program to both students and state. We wish you the best of luck, Katie, on your next chapter!

This Monday, August the 10th, The Craft Academy welcomed 126 new incoming students, the 116 juniors of the class of 2028 and for the very first time 10 new incoming seniors joining the class of 2027!

Clarification regarding our previous post:

We want to clarify some information from our previous post after receiving questions from members of our community. We previously shared that move-in times had been issued to students for August 10th. We apologize that this statement was not more specific and for any confusion it might have caused.

NEW Craft Academy students received move-in times earlier in the week (for August 10th). Ambassadors and move-in helpers may move in on August 9th to be available in time to help our families with arrivals. Returning Craft Academy students will move in on August 16th.

We hope this clears any confusion. Thank you to those who reached out with questions!
