Hey Families!

Don't forget Day 1 of our Easter Family Devotionals starts today! 🌿

Jesus Comes to Jerusalem as King (Matthew 21:1-11)

21 As they all approached Jerusalem, they came to Bethphage. It was on the Mount of Olives. Jesus sent out two disciples. 2 He said to them, “Go to the village ahead of you. As soon as you get there, you will find a donkey tied up. Her c**t will be with her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them. The owner will send them right away.”

4 This took place so that what was spoken through the prophet would come true. It says,

5 “Say to the city of Zion,
‘See, your king comes to you.
He is gentle and riding on a donkey.
He is riding on a donkey’s c**t.’ ” (Zechariah 9:9)
6 The disciples went and did what Jesus told them to do. 7 They brought the donkey and the c**t. They placed their coats on them for Jesus to sit on. 8 A very large crowd spread their coats on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 Some of the people went ahead of him, and some followed. They all shouted,

“Hosanna to the Son of David!”
“Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!” (Psalm 118:26)
“Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up. The people asked, “Who is this?”

11 The crowds answered, “This is Jesus. He is the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”

VBS is going to look a little different this year, BUT it's going to be just as much fun, exciting & full of the gospel! We hope your kiddos come hang out with us; they will be begging to come back each night!

This Easter, let’s remember what the celebration is truly about. ✝️🌿

To help our families keep Christ at the center of Easter, we’re sending home Easter Family Devotional Boxes filled with simple activities and devotions you can do together! They will be available starting this Sunday, March 15th and Sunday, March 22nd.

In the middle of egg hunts, candy, and family fun, we hope these moments will help your family pause, reflect, and celebrate the greatest gift of all—the love of Jesus and the hope we have through His resurrection. 💛

Take time to gather together, open your box, and walk through the story of Easter as a family. Day 1 starts on Wednesday, March 15th and the last day is Monday, April 6th! We can’t wait to see how God uses these moments in your homes!

Hey Families!

We miss being with you today but wanted to give you a little family devotional to do at home. This connects to what we will teach for the rest of March!

Next Sunday we are starting a new series by teaching kids the Simple Truth “I Am Meant to Know God.” Kids will learn amazing characteristics about God—He is holy, He never changes, He is just and kind, and He is wise. Knowing who God is and what He is like helps us know and believe who He made us to be. This is a great way to get the conversation started at home before we dive in on Sunday mornings!

This first week, we are teaching the story of God speaking to Isaiah in Isaiah 6. When the prophet Isaiah came face to face with God, Isaiah recognized that God is holy, meaning He is special, unique, and set apart. While Isaiah knew he was not holy because of his sinfulness, God invited Isaiah to trust and follow Him. Kids can know that God is holy, which makes Him really special, and this same holy God says they are special too!

Hey Families!

This past Sunday, we learned that "God's Love is Kind!" This week, please talk with your kiddos about specific ways they can show God's love to others, and encourage them to put these ideas into practice!

Our Marina Kids (K-3rd) went home with an activity page. If they bring it back completed on Sunday, they get a prize!
