“As Amelia Earhart once said: “The most difficult thing is the decision to act.” Though we may not have all the information at hand, we can choose movement instead of stagnation, exploration instead of paralysis. And when we do, the sky is just the beginning. This is the promise of an experimental mindset.” - Anne-Laure Le Cunff

Life isn’t linear, and yet we constantly try to mold it around linear goals: four-year college degrees, ten-year career plans, thirty-year mortgages. What if instead we approached life as a giant playground for experimentation? Where would you begin? Let’s talk about it! I’m just a message away and would love to join you on your journey!

ICYMI - The Kirstie Ennis Foundation offered me an extraordinary opportunity to participate in their Snowboarding Clinic in February. I joined four other amazing female veterans in Glenwood Springs, Colorado for the week. Not only did we get to spend time with the amazing herself, we received one-on-one guidance on the mountain with patient instructors at Ski Sunlight AND we were provided all the gear we needed to hit the slopes again!

I am grateful to and .photo for making the experience special. Even after I stacked it in spectacular fashion on Day 2, we managed to have the best time together! I look forward to returning as a TKEF Alumna Volunteer next year with & !!

If you are interested in applying for a TKEF event or donating to support this organization, please visit The Kirstie Ennis Foundation website https://kirstieennisfoundation.com.

“Twenty-five years is a long time. Think about how different you are today than you were a quarter-century ago. Our opinions change. Our tastes change. We care more about some things and less about others.” - Malcolm Gladwell

Join our Virtual Book Club and you’ll receive six awesome book recommendations a year! ICYMI: Our current Read with Tegan Book Club selection for January/February was Malcolm Gladwell’s book Revenge of the Tipping Point: Overstories, Superspreaders, and the Rise of Social Engineering. More than two decades after The Tipping Point, Malcolm Gladwell is back with a new perspective for the modern age. With his captivating blend of storytelling and social science, Gladwell calls attention to contagious phenomena and what he identifies as an alarming new form of social engineering in this thoroughly researched and skillfully written follow-up to its groundbreaking predecessor. As you read this book, I challenge you to consider how much your own thought processes have changed in the last twenty years. Are there assumptions that you made previously based on your limited experience? How have your perspectives changed? Let’s talk about it! I’m just a message away and would love to join you on your journey!

“Kindness is the greatest wealth of all. Small acts of kindness last longer than a lifetime. This lesson, that kindness and generosity and faith in your fellow man are more important than money, is the first and greatest lesson my father ever taught me.” - Eddie Jaku

Join our Virtual Book Club and you’ll receive six awesome book recommendations a year! ICYMI, our final Read with Tegan Book Club selection for 2024 is Eddie Jaku’s inspirational story The Happiest Man on Earth - The Beautiful Life of an Auschwitz Survivor. Against unbelievable odds, Eddie found the will to survive in extraordinary circumstances. Overwhelming grateful, he made a promise: he would smile every day in thanks for the precious gift he was given and to honor the six million Jews murdered by Hi**er. At the time this book was published at 100 years of age, despite all he suffered, Eddie called himself the “happiest man on earth.” In his remarkable memoir, this born storyteller shares his wisdom and reflects on how he has led his best possible life, talking warmly and openly about the power of gratitude, tolerance, and kindness. Life can be beautiful if you make it beautiful. As we read this book, I challenge you to reflect upon the blessings in your life. How are you displaying these qualities on a daily basis? Let’s talk about it! I’m just a message away and would love to join you on your journey!
