The College strives to offer an accessible, affordable, and flexible education for all learners seeking a degree rooted in sustainability science, no matter where they are. The Moose River Valley Center is the educational space for the Unity College Sky Lodge campus in Moose River, Maine.

Happy Earth Day, everyone! 🌍🌿🌱🌳🌺 At Unity College: Sky Lodge we are committed to preserving our natural resources and minimizing our impact on the environment.

We believe that taking care of the earth should be a top priority for all. From our daily sustainable practices to our eco-friendly amenities in the rooms, we strive to make our guests' experience as green as possible.

This change reflects the Institution’s evolution from a small, private liberal arts college to a Master’s College & University as recognized by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.

Today we honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Since 1986, our country has honored the importance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his dream. A dream that every person be treated equally. A dream that saw this world come together in freedom and peace.

It is my hope that each and every person takes the time to honor Dr. King’s legacy by making a difference within their own community. Take the time to educate yourself and embrace Dr. King’s vision today and every day.

Today, Unity College would like to say "thank you" to Dr. King for showing the world how to embrace love, show compassion, and exhibit the spirit to fight against injustice so that one day we can all be "free at last."

On May 21, 2022 Unity College and Sky Lodge Maine recognized John and Elaine Couri for their commitment to giving learners of all ages an opportunity to explore and learn from all the beautiful resources Maine has to offer while providing economic development opportunities for the Moose River Valley. To honor these efforts Unity College awarded John Couri with an honorary Doctorate of Sustainability during our May commencement.
